The buzzing that you heard earlier intensifies. Natalya, Anna, and Vladus all look up in time to avoid the sting of some enormous insects. They are about the height of a human without legs, and have giant wings that go beyond their body mass. Long needles ride from their faces as 10 of these buzz around your group. Gwen and Kirt are impaled by 2 insects each. Blood sucks from their bodies, as they don't feel any immediate mortal pain, but an intense itchiness overcomes them, while the creatures latch on to suck more and more blood from the subjects.

(It's only a free action if you have the quick-draw feat. You still have enough actions to pull it out and shoot anyway.)

Natalya is quick to react with a drawing of her newly acquired pistol. Taking a direct aim at the enemies above, she hears a disappointing click and bang simultaneously. It appears the gun is jammed.

I pull out my dagger and attempt to attack one of them. attack roll 12

Vladus' dagger sweeps across a nearby insect's needle. The creature responds by taking instant high flight, staying airborne and out of reach.

I pull out my longsword and try to kill the one feasting upon me. (Roll: 20) (Roll2: 15 )

Gwendhiel panics as her blood is being removed from her body, she draws her longsword, delivering a cut to sever the beast before even actually taking a swing at it! It's two halves fly in separate directions as blood and guts spout in the air, raining about the party.

I use my torch to jab one of the bugs on my back like I had an itch I just got to itch

Then I shout "Fable, Wabajack!" and point to one of the insects not attached to me or Gwen.

Kirtus throws out his flaming rod around his back to smack his predator away, whilst giving a command for Fable to strike. A squeal is let out, the creature whom was previously attached to his back left thrown and motionless on the ground. Fable gnaws at a stray enemy, tearing it to pieces.

This is what you're fighting essentially, if my description wasn't graphic enough.

Doing my best to concetrate a cast ray of frost, and aim carefully at one of the beasts. (To tell the truth I don't know what you want me to roll for this)...

(You roll a d20, then a 1d3. Or if you can't get a d3, roll a d6 and pretend 3=1, 4=2, 6=3.)

A thin blue beam travels from Anastrianna's palm, piercing an insect, causing it to pull away, and head away from the crowd.

2 stray stirges remain in flight encircling the group. The insects attached to Kirt and Gwendhiel pull out their stingers, and fly away...The two leftover stirges target Anna and Vladus, darting full speed into them. Vladus manages to sidestep his predetor, however Anna is given a full on pierce through her shoulder, and given a very discomforting sensation of feeling her blood extracted.

I pull out my long sword and swing at the insect attacking Anna. (Attack:7)

Natalya pulls out a longsword in full swing, attempting to rescue Anna from her pain. The attack goes right overhead of the insect. In fact, Natalya came closer to hitting Anna than the stirge. It continues to extract blood uninterrupted.

I attempt to flank the bug on Anna. Attack roll 6

"Some one get this bloody beast of me shoulder!" I scream in slight agony.

Vladus clips the stirge on the wing, forcing it to pull out, and re coordinate itself.

Pulls out my pistol and shoots at the stirge before it can recuperate. (Roll: 14)

Gwen takes not even a moment's hesitation to fire a finishing blow to the baffled stirge. The blast from gunshot blows the blood right out of it, and all over Anna's skin/attire. No more stirges are hostile / in the vicinity.

I groan at the bloodsplatter. "Sorry, Anna." I say, looking apologetic.

I recoil in disgust as the blood goes everywhere. "Jeez, lets get out of here before they come back with friends,"
